Cruisin’ the Ridge: March 15, 2014

Join us on Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM!

The Mountain Ridge High School band boosters invite you to their First Annual Car Show and Food Truck Round Up to benefit the MRHS Band program.

Come view the amazing cars and motorcycles of some of our local gearheads, taste the savory offerings of top local food truck vendors and shop in our craft vendor marketplace. Live entertainment will be ongoing throughout the event!

Planning and registration is underway. We will list here the participants and vendors as they are registered and confirmed, as well as a full schedule of the event activities.

VINYL JAZZ to perform

Vinyl Jazz

Vinyl Jazz, a local jazz music combo featuring young area performers, is scheduled to perform 2 45-minute sets during the car show. Prepare yourself for a feast of the senses! Just added to our food truck roster is Sandra Dee’s Creole Kitchen. Sandra Dee’s specializes in the finest Louisiana Creole cuisine, featuring such delicious temptations as Crawfish Etouffee, Shrimp and Grits and the Oyster Po-Boy. Their authentic menu can be viewed here. “Yes, it’s super good!”

Come and join us for the Premier Cruisin’ the Ridge Car Show and Food Truck Round-Up! Vehicle registration is only $25 if placed before 3/15, ($30 on the day of the event, if space is available). There are 5 VIP spaces available for only $50 each and includes a t-shirt. Awards will be given on event day. Crafters are being accepted for The Marketplace of the Cruisin’ The Ridge Car Show and Food Truck Round-Up! Shaded spaces are available for only $25  however each vendor is responsible for their own tables and display. Setup begins at 8:30 am with the show running from 10-2. White Eyes offers delicious, authentic fry bread. The fry bread product was introduced to the owner, Alice Roach, while living on the Navajo reservation, near Ft. Defiance, AZ, in the 1990′s.
